So, let me guess.
The honeymoon of your coaching business is over. When you first got into coaching, you were so excited about the impact it had on your life and the open possibilities.
But you don’t have many clients. And you don’t feel very coach-like anymore.
Now that you’ve been plugging away at the marketing and business building aspect of being a professional, self-employed coach, you’re not having as much fun. It feels like work. Lonely work.
Not to mention that marketing is not your thing. It can sometimes feel awkward, forced, heck, even soul-less.
And it’s starting to piss you off.
You want this thing called coaching to be fun, exciting, effortless, and – is it too much to ask – profitable. Yes, you want to make some money.
If this sounds like you, you’ve got to check out Noomii Pitch Fest
Pitch Fest is a 60-minute telephone conference with the goal of fostering collaboration, creativity, and profit for coaches. At the end of the call, teams of coaches will join forces to bring coaching into the world in a unique way, never seen before.
Tuesday May 21st at 12PM Pacific (3PM Eastern).
How does it work?
Do you have an idea for how you might uniquely serve your ideal coaching clients? Want to write an inspiring book, create a compelling workshop, foster a community discussion, or start a not-for-profit? But could benefit from others with different strengths and skill sets to make it happen?
Pitch your idea to other coaches and form a team to bring your concept to the world faster, more effectively, and with a lot more fun.
What if I don’t have any ideas (i.e. I’m not the pitchy type)?
No problem. That’s the benefit of collaboration. Some people are good at generating ideas. Others are good at executing on them.
How many pitches will there be?
We are aiming for 5 to 10 but we are open to having more.
What do I need to include in my pitch?
Think of your pitch as a 60-second infomercial. You need to convince the other coaches that your idea has potential. Consider including:
– a name or working title for your concept
– a clear description of what your idea is
– who you serve
– what the market potential is
– what resources you are looking for
What happens after the call?
You get to decide. If you are the leader of a project and want to keep it going, it’s up to you to move it forward and ask for the support you need.
Who’s hosting the call?
Pitch Fest is hosted by me, Stephan Wiedner, and Melanie Keveles, MCC.

Keveles, MA, CPCC, MCC and President of Starting Fresh Coaching LLC (startofsomethingbig.com) is a master certified coach, writer and trainer who specializes in helping people achieve their career goals. Awesome idea! Plus I have a pitch ready.
A project that I wanted to start since January but feel I need joined forces from other Coaches.
Only downside: could we have the same event with some Asian friendly timings? Really not at my personal best when getting up at 3am :((
Dear Anja,
I do agree. I live in Singapore and it is very hard to attend these events in the wee hours of the morning. Hope they will have some sessions for the Middle and Far Eastern Countries.
Paul
Hi Anja and Paul,
Thanks for your comments and expressing an interest from your part of the world. That’s awesome.
This brand new format for a teleclass is quite different from anything I’ve previously delivered so there will be a lot of learning and experimentation going on. And, I hope that it will prove to be very valuable. In which case, I would be more than happy to deliver it again at a more favourable hour for you.
If you can make it on the call, I give you permission to wear one of these for the day. 😀
Stephan
Hi, I think this is a great idea and would love to be a part of this call. thanks:-)
Yes! This is ideal! I have the perfect idea for a coaching concept that would indeed benefit from other coaches to work in a roundtable. Can’t wait for PitchFest!
Welcome @Beth and @Jennifer! Looking forward to hearing your pitches!
This sounds v exciting, I will sign-up.
Like some of the above posters, I also some feedback about the timing: it will be at 8pm in my time zone.
It would be great to have some earlier events, say 9am Pacific / 12pm Eastern / 4pm UK.
Thank you!
Thanks Mhairi,
With folks in Europe, North America, and Asia, it’s hard to please everyone. Someone’s bound to find the time inconvenient. But I’m super excited that we’re drawing from such a geographically diverse group. So exciting!
Hopefully the event goes well and we can offer other times.
