What do you mean, you hired a coach? Like, a sports coach?
A question that every coach hears, and every potential client ponders. No, life and sports coaching aren’t the same thing, but they do have many areas that overlap.
Though some fundamentals are the same, the methods employed by life and sports coaches vary greatly.

Great post.
Coaching, whether it is in sports or in life involves the same skills. I find that teaching is basically just another type of coaching.
Teachers act as mentors and role models to their students. The best teachers are able to make their students believe that they can succeed inside and outside of the classroom, the same way a life coach does.
In essence, the life coaching is just teaching for adults!
You have some great points here. I would just add a coach is also teacher, psychologist, motivator, and a leader.
i agreed with TT, a best coach should have all these qualities
