As a part of our interview series, we had the pleasure to interview Michele Lee Occhipinti.

Introduce yourself! Please tell us about you and your life, so we can get to know you better.

Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to speak to Brainz Magazine and for having me here, my name is Michele Lee Occhipinti, I am the Founder of Ack Professional, a world class premier peak performance leadership & life strategist who is on a mission to empower people to preserve their integrity, raise their performance to become the best version of themselves professionally & personally for ultimate success and fulfillment in life.

With over two decades working alongside executives, I bring a unique blend of leadership, life & business coaching expertise. My experience includes providing business results training and results coaching for the world’s top business and life strategist in the world.

Tell us about a pivotal moment in your life that brought you to where you are today.

After a long, distinguished career in Corporate America, I reached a pivoting moment in my life where the money and status were no longer most important to me and resigned from the world’s top pharmaceutical company, following my integrity and true passion to empower individuals to transform their lives and achieve the success they seek to contribute to the world.

I am a graduate of Northeastern University and obtained additional education and certifications in coaching, business, psychology, addiction, and leadership, leveraging these credentials with my experience as the top 1% of coaches worldwide to provide the most advanced strategic, personalized support to empower each of my clients.

What is your work inspired by?

As a young child, I began visiting the island of Nantucket and spending summers on the island. Ack Professional (Ack known as the FAA’s official code for Nantucket Memorial Airport) is inspired from the place that brought out the best in me from the island’s natural beauty, artists, boutique business, Inn owners, fishermen, and individuals who uphold their integrity and live life on their terms taking control and being the professionals of their lives.

As a young girl I learned to take control of my own life and make life happen understanding it was not going to be handed to me and to follow what I truly believed to be true, my integrity. After witnessing so many people within my professional and personal life struggle in their lives feeling unfulfilled, unsatisfied, many following the trails for money, status, or succumbing to addiction not confronting what they believed to be true in life and being completely unfulfilled and passionless in the life they were leading. I wanted to make a change in the world encompassing my corporate experience with my education and personal experience to focus on empowering individuals to move forward in the life they envision. Understanding what each individual client needs it’s not a one size fits all but allowing them to create what is right for them. provide a mix of consulting and coaching in my programs and include assessments allowing them to understand more of themselves to follow their beliefs and values for they seek to achieve in life and in the organization they represent. Increasing their presence as a leader and the individuals they lead while also increasing their fulfillment in life.

Ack Professional was inspired where it all began for me on the island of Nantucket with a vision to live the life and to empower individuals to take control of their lives following their integrity while increasing their influence in leadership and ultimate fulfillment in life to their peak performance through the latest in experience and strategies for their success with clients throughout the world.

What would you like to achieve for yourself and your business in the future?

Within the past years I have initiated a blend of services to help my client’s overcome addiction and substance abuse I serve to move them forward in the services I provide and would like to be part of the movement to cure addiction in the world. Mental health is so important for our lives and individualized success. Recently I included strategizing for the home in my listing of services providing peak performance strategies in leadership, life and home for greater opportunities to my clients in designing the life they envision. As when we gain the success we see in our lives it’s the next level we want to encounter to achieve and constantly strive to be our best selves. It does not just stop when we reach the goal it’s the destination we are reaching for.

For my future it is returning where it all began for me to the island that empowers me to be my best and giving back to the communities and people that need it most empowering them to live their best life and departing knowing I made a significant impact throughout the world. Life is a gift it gives us the privilege to give back while we are here and do something more.

Many people through the pandemic have taken a shift in their lives, you hear a lot about The Great Resignation to the Great Depression now it’s Quiet Quitting, I was well aware of the great resignation before it originated, it is not all about the money and status anymore people want to assure they are in line for their greater self and achieve what is most important to them in life.

As leaders they have had to make significant changes in how they lead since the pandemic it not about just reaching the goal but establishing trust in the staff and understanding them, their needs for motivation, and connecting it to the mission, then outlining the business strategy to reach the ultimate level to their success and land at the destination.
