There Has Never Been a Better Time to be a Coach
There has never been a better time to be a better coach. Over the past few years as the entire world went virtual, look at the startling statistics:
- Stress and anxiety are up due to job loss (KFF Organization)
- Depression and mental health concerns have dramatically risen (CDC)
- Nearly one third of U.S. adults are seeing an increase in stress and in need of some sort of social, economic, or financial support (Commonwealth Study)
- The personal development industry will be worth 56.6B by 2027 (Cision, 2020)
At Noomii, we see this type of opportunity every single day.
Yet, we encounter the same feedback from coaches.
- “How do I get clients?”
- “How do I get them to answer the phone? They never pick up.”
- “I can’t get them to pay.”
Does any of this sound familiar?
The biggest challenge facing every single coach is two parts:
Finding clients AND learning how to sell your services to them so that they will purchase.
Countless coaches spend tens of thousands of dollars getting their certified practitioners licenses but they fail to get the most important part of their coaching practice: “How do I consistently find clients AND how do I sell my services to them so they will buy?”
Here are three trips you can use to get started right away:
First, recommend yourself every week.
Be consistent about recommending yourself for leads in the Referral Program. Just as you would if you were using your own Google AdWords campaign or Television Spot, you would run advertisements all of the time. And similar to those efforts, they would not all be successful. Noomii is no different but it’s the consistency that is important. Your consistency in effort is what ensures you have the highest likelihood at earning opportunities to get in front of new prospective clients.
Second, use massive reach out efforts when you have a new referral.
As we teach in our Noomii Sales Academy program, you cannot simply email a referral. Your referrals are professional procrastinators. Every moment you delay between the day you received the referral and your outreach attempt will lessen the likelihood of connection. Do every single thing you can to connect. Be creative! Call them, text them, email them, find them on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Snap Chat, Tik Tok, or more. Remember that it is their insecurities that is inspiring them to look for a coach as well as stopping them from answering the phone. Fight through those insecurities and find them.
Third, be accountable.
We at Noomii believe in the coaching method. We all do. That’s why we not only refer coaches, but we use them as well. Our team all has their own coaches to hold them accountable to be better. That’s why Noomii has partnered with Don Markland from Accountability Now to provide one-of-a-kind Noomii Sales Academy where you can invest in scaling your business unlike ever before. You’ll learn about selling coaching (for people who don’t like selling), marketing, website building, lead magnets, ebooks, program building, referrals, strategic partnerships, webinars, podcasts, storytelling, branding, and more. Just look at what one program member had to say:
“I learn something new every week…I needed direction and your coaching is helping with that. I appreciate you and Noomii team for providing us with the weekly calls." A.P., Sales Academy Program Attendee
There has never been a better time to be a coach. Take advantage of this opportunity. Invest in your practice, learn the skills you need, and be the best coach you can be.
