How to Prepare for your Noomii Onboarding Call
Welcome to Noomii! We’re thrilled to have you on our team, and want to ensure that you get the most value from your membership. Here is some information you will need before you have your onboarding call.
The onboarding call will consist of three parts:
1. Your Noomii representative will answer any questions you have about your membership
2. You will share some details about your practice and your ideal clients
3. We will record an audio interview for your profile
BEFORE your onboarding call takes place, please follow these steps:
1. Complete your Noomii Profile
Prior to your onboarding call, you need to fill out all of the details of your Noomii profile. We have some great modules to help you make your profile shine, which can be found here.
The primary reason that most coaches subscribe to Noomii is to get client leads. We spend a lot of time and money to generate traffic to the website and we want to make sure that all of our coaches, including you, present themselves as well as possible. Together, by making our profiles shine, we can grow the industry and encourage more and more people to experience the power of coaching.
2. Fill out the Referral Program Checklist
Now that you have completed all of the areas of your profile (photo, ideal client summary, about me section, contact details, reviews, etc), you need to fill out a brief checklist. This will help us get a better idea of who your ideal client is and provide essential information for the onboarding call.
3. Prepare for your Audio Interview
We aim for the recorded interviews to be around 3-5 minutes in length. We generally record the interview in one take. Once it’s recorded, we edit it for sound quality, cut out any obvious mistakes and then upload it to your profile.
During the interview, we will cover four main topics:
- Your ideal client
- Your process
- Client outcomes/feedback
- Your background/training and how you got into coaching
Keep these key points in mind:
- You’re the expert on you. The interview will be like you’re having a cup of coffee chatting with a friend who’s curious about your work. No sweat. You’ll be great.
- Try to keep a consistent message between your interview and what you write on your profile. Consistency is key to having a digestible message that gives people confidence about what you do.
- Keep your answers brief. The final interview should only be 3-5 minutes long.
- We record the interview from our computers using Zoom. You can call into Zoom using your cell or landline but we’ve discovered that Zoom-to-Zoom calls tend to provide the best audio sound quality.
- Try not to read answers to the questions above. You don’t want to sound scripted. People are listening for the way in which you speak as much as the words you say. Both are important.
- This is an audio-only recording, we do not record video, so feel free to stay in your pajamas!
Want to listen to interviews? Browse the directory and you’ll find plenty of interviews to listen to!
4. On the Day of your Onboarding Call
At your appointment time, click on the Zoom link, or call in with the meeting ID provided in your appointment confirmation. Please be sure you have Zoom downloaded and are at your computer before your call begins. If you do not wish to download Zoom, you can use your phone to call the number provided, or you can send us your Skype ID and we will happily call you on Skype. Test your audio equipment before the call to make sure that it’s working.
Can’t make it? If you need to cancel or change your scheduled appointment, you can easily do so through our online calendar. Please click on the link that you would have received via email confirming your appointment or in the event that was added to your calendar.
