How to Develop an Effective Marketing Strategy That Will Keep Clients Coming Back
This is a guest post written by Kristin Savage.
Running an online coaching business can be quite difficult. If you just started out, you are probably seeing that while your stats show many monthly visitors, you aren’t getting all these many customers. This can happen for many different reasons. The good thing is that there are things you can do in order to increase your conversion rates.
Developing an effective marketing strategy can consist of a few different steps, all of which are important in order to make your company grow and keep your customers coming back. Here are some of the best tips to help you build your own marketing strategy and make sure that your business gets all the attention it deserved.
Design a user-friendly landing page
The very first thing you should be doing is making sure that your website is as easy to navigate as possible. If a customer had a difficult time getting to your products and reaching check-out, it is a lot less likely for them to come back for more.
Your landing page needs to always be updated with the newest information about your products, any potential discounts as well as positive reviews from other purchasers. The more user-friendly your website is, the more likely a visitor is to make a purchase and even come back for more.
Invest in an email marketing campaign
Email marketing campaigns are a great way to influence consumers to purchase something from a website. You can easily incorporate such a marketing strategy by asking your website visitors to sign up for your newsletter in order to receive a discount code on their first purchase.
Their email will stay on your contact list and if they are happy with your products after their initial purchase, they are bound to be waiting for the next time you email them a discount code. Make sure to keep the emails coming regularly in order to inform them of everything new that’s going on with your brand and that will keep their excitement factor up.
Be active on social media
Another important factor to making sure your website visitors convert into paying clients is how well you present your brand on social media. The truth is that any potential client will feel a lot more comfortable when they see a company being active online and having positive comments in their posts and company pages.
Not only will this make you a lot more trustworthy but it will also keep your current and potential clients informed on your newest programs, promotions, offers, activities, etc. If you’re interested in expanding your coaching business to accommodate other countries, being active on social media will help you make a great start by reaching out to a broader audience. If you need any help with translating your website or social media content, there are plenty of trusted translations reviews online which can help you make the right decision for your brand.
Make sure your customer service is great
Another way to ensure that your customers will come back for more is to make them feel welcome and always be available to answer their potential questions. The best way to achieve this is by making sure that you are always there to answer questions and help them with any problems which might arise with their orders.
You can choose to offer customer support services through your website, through email or through your social media accounts. In any case, you should never take more than 12-24 hours to respond to a message. This will help build trust between your brand and your customers and it will encourage them to place another order.
Don’t lose track of your past clients
After someone has worked with you, you will still have their contact information through the website. You can use this as an opportunity to stay in touch with them. Whether that means following them back on their social media or sending them occasional promotional emails with discount codes and special offers for a next purchase, showing them they are special will help motivate them to purchase from your company again.
If, for example, you notice that a certain customer visiting the site often but not purchasing services, you should encourage them by sending them a discount code. This will show them you care about their experience with your brand and that you wish to know they are satisfied with your services.
Be transparent and honest
Last but not least, if you wish to keep your customers loyal to your coaching services, you should always make sure that you are transparent and honest regarding all your activity. The more active you are online and the more you communicate with your followers and customers, the more trustworthy you appear. This simply happens because people know that your company is legitimate and that there are plenty of happy customers to support your legitimacy.
If you continue being honest about your product descriptions and the services you provide, it is certain that those who enjoyed what you are offering will come back for more. When your work is honest, you have nothing to worry about. People will appreciate your honesty and the effort you put into the services you provide and they will prefer you over your competitors at any given moment.
In summation
Developing a good online marketing strategy can be a little tricky if you don’t know how to go about it. There are many factors which play an important role in establishing a solid online presence and providing your clients with excellent services is the number one thing which will keep them coming back for more.
The more effort you put into making sure your customers are satisfied, the more likely they are to use your services again. In order to achieve that, you will have to stay present in the online social media communities, make sure to always provide your loyal customers with good deals and always being honest about the way you do things in your business.

Good points Kristen.
Having a great website that leads to an email opt-in form with a lead magnet incentive is a really wise thing for a coach to do. As a coach, you should set up an email welcome series (perhaps a 5 day sequence) with free value adding material that can help nurture your leads, so they're more likely to want to hire you as a coach.
It's not enough to be active on social media, you must also be active in the right places. It's all about choosing where your target market hangs out on social media, and spending your time communicating in those circles. Otherwise you're gonna waste a lot of time on social media not getting any results.
Customer service should be about over-delivering your clients as much as it is about responding in time. That will maximize the likelihood of your clients sending you referrals your way.
